16th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards:: January 14th, 2011

Critics' Choice AwardsThe Critics' Choice Movie Awards are bestowed annually by the Broadcast Film Critics Association to honor the finest in cinematic achievement. Nominees for 2010 film releases will be selected by written ballots in a week-long voting period and will be announced on December 13th, 2010. Winners will revealed at the 16th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards ceremony on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Hollywood Palladium. The ceremony will broadcast live on VH1 Television Network.

Each year, special awards are given out at the discretion of the BFCA Board of Directors.

The following dates apply for the 16th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards, honoring the finest in cinematic achievement among 2010 film releases:

December 6, 2010 – Nominating ballots go out to the BFCA members
December 11, 2010 – Deadline for returning nominating ballots
December 13, 2010 – Critics' Choice Movie Awards nominees named
January 10, 2011 – Final ballots go out to the BFCA members
January 12, 2011 – Deadline for returning final ballots
